July 29, 2010 - 10:34 amAce - Your photos are such an inspiration! They make me want to get married just so I could hire you! LOL
Amazing work! :)
For Sharmi & Dinesh’s engagement shoot we decided to head out to downtown Toronto’s fashion district to be able to use some interesting backdrops & textures. Graffiti walls & shabby alleys added some interesting contrast to their engagement shoot. So without further ado, here are some of my absolute favorite images from Sharmi & Dinesh’s engagement session..
For the first half of Monica & Emmanuel’s engagement shoot their dog, Lex accompanied us to the open fields of Caledon. I am a HUGE dog lover and was totally excited about Lex joining us. We had SO much fun capturing all three of them together..& their connection. For the second part of the engagement shoot we decided to hit the Main street Brampton area for some more sophisticated images. Here are some of my favourite images from the engagement shoot.
Monica & Emmanuel spend a LOT of their time in their car so they wanted to incorporate that in to their shoot.
Here are a few of my favorite images from Shelly & Rajat’s wedding & reception photo shoot. Round II of images from their ceremonies coming up next this week!
I know I am a little behind in updating the blog, but it’s been a busy summer not only shooting but also keeping up with the post production of things in studio. Here are some of my favorite moments from Preet & Mandeep’s Wedding.. Enjoy!
PS: YES!! that is Apna Sangeet performing at their wedding reception.. -
July 21, 2010 - 10:29 amNav - Amazing Photography!!!
July 25, 2010 - 3:36 amSheena - Such beautiful pictures...you captured the memories of the day so gracefully and all the high points of the day shine through.
You guys might remember the Bridalicous contest that I announced back in February on the blog, well Tracy Thomas was the lucky draw winner of the contest and won herself an editorial styled photoshoot, beautified by Amplified Soul Makeup+Hair Couture, styled by CTC West : South Asian Bridal & Formal Wear & photographed by G+H photography – valued at $1500!
Thank you to all the following vendors that made this contest so awesome & glamorous. And a very special & BIG thank you to Tracy, for totally rocking the shoot! Tracy – are you sure you don’t want to consider modelling?!!!?!!
AND another big thank you to Christiana from Park Hyatt for allowing us to use those ‘oh so fabulous’ & uber expensive suites at Park Hyatt for this shoot!
Nikhil (a.k.a Nik) first laid eyes on Nisha in an elevator of the university they both attended. After a brief conversation they exchanged numbers and rest as they is history…
N&N are tying the knot this summer and we are oh SO excited for their big day! We first met Nisha & Nikhil at one of our 2009 client Zumil & Sajida’s wedding. They approached us at their wedding and asked for our information and a few weeks later contacted us regarding their BIG day. From our first meeting to their engagement session day where we spent a lot of time talking about life, work & our passions, me & Harp realized how much we have in common with them.. We are so honoured to be documenting this stage of their lives & looking forward to getting to know them even more over our future AYCE (all you can eat) Sushi date.. -
Cheers,

Nik brought his saxophone to the engagement shoot, which was a great idea & we had SO much fun incorporating and personalizing their shoot with this prop.
For the following shot I had asked Nisha to just stand by the garage door for me to test the light, and so she simply walked over and stood there casually while i tested my light… and this is what a casual Nisha looks like..GORGEOUS! STUNNING.. beautiful.. etc etc.. one of my favorite shots from the shoot -
Another set of my favourites!! the following set of images are just SO Nisha & Nik together, fun, candid & Hilarious!!
Bling! Bling!
So for one part of their engagement shoot we decided to get Nisha & Nik to act out a little how they met..ERRR…okay in a very EXAGGERATED style but it was SO much fun & I have to say Nik your expressions are totally hilarious..
June 30, 2010 - 9:11 amShivon - LOVE THESE!! The elevator shots are perfection...these guys are too cute!
June 30, 2010 - 10:06 amPreeti Gupta - I just like how your images are so creative but also timeless with usage of props etc, because sometimes i find too much creativity overpowers the connection between the couple and the entire engagement seems about the location and props etc. But these images are so super creative while ceasing the most important thing, i.e connection between the couple. amazing work as always. keep it up.
June 30, 2010 - 10:18 amAmna Hakim - I love all the colours and the use of props in these pictures! :) what a nice touch to the shoot! the couple is lucky to have you as their photog! congrats Nikhil and Nisha!
June 30, 2010 - 10:25 amGrace - Amazing job!! Love the lighting and the colors!!! Beautiful!
July 5, 2010 - 11:55 amJamieson - Wow Garima...! These are some INCREDIBLE IMAGES!

Yup!! It’s that time of the month again, your installement of Deepan & Ausra’s part II of their Engagement session, photographed on the Royal Carribean’s Majesty of Seas, enroute to Bahamas from Miami.
PS: YES that is our version of the “titanic” scene at the end of the slideshow, it’s just one of those things that you have to do when on a cruise..right??!!
Yes it’s monday and quite a productive one. There is lots on going today in studio & we are so excited about new stuff coming your way & ours. But mind you people summer, hot sunny days, designer shoes & a good sale excites me a little too much and according to Harp I can make small things quite BIG in my own mind, but the point is that I am really excited about new stuff happenning in studio today…:) But for now Here are some of my favorite images from Satyen & Bipen’s Paletta Mansion, Burlington Engagement session.
Engagement session are so much fun & in fact one of my favorite things to capture. It’s the best one on one time you can get with the to be B&G & honestly I find you can learn soo much about the couple during this session. To me engagement sessions are all about capturing the couple’s essence, documenting this moment & stage in time, style, & above all capturing their connection! Jhanvi & Jayesh, thank you so much for this opportunity, I hope you guys love these images not only today but 20, 3o, 40 years from now… - Can’t wait to document your big day this year!!
Here are a few of my favorite images from the day… -
ahem!! so how fun are Jahnvi’s shoes!! gotta love the punch of color a nice pair of shoes can add to any outifit!
Something about this image is so perfect & surreal.. love it!
Jhanvi, you are SO beautiful, this is one of my favorite images.. -
