Shivani + Arush – Gairloch Gardens Engagement

Usually it’s a process to pick a location, concept & style for the engagement shoots here at G+H for most of our clients. The process involves a lot of brainstorming, ideas, inspirations boards etc, just to be able to narrow down details of an engagement shoot. But when I emailed Shivani regarding their engagement shoot hoping to start the creative process, she replied back with “We definitely want to go where he proposed: Gairloch Gardens” . And it was that simple! We had a location, one of the most important details for an eshoot. Hair & Make up was going to be easy, as Shivani is a professional make up artist herself & owns her own company called Artistry by SWG. So after a few emails back & forth we were ready for the eshoot. However we had to reschedule their eshoot atleast 3-4 times as Mother Nature was not cooperating, it rained pretty much every scheduled day of their eshoot. But as it is in Shivani & Arush’s nature, they were easy going & very flexible with their schedules to make this eshoot happen on a bright & sunny day. So finally the day happened & i kid you not it was a full on SUNSHINE kinda day!!

BRIDALICIOUS Fundamentals Spring/Summer 2011 – Secret Garden

This weekend as a part of the Bridalicious team, I co-hosted the Bridalicious Fundamentals Spring/Summer 2011-Secret Garden Event, along with my fabulous colleagues Richha @ Arora Wedding & Event Planning, Shobana @ Amplified Soul, & Gaurav @ CTC West. This year the event was hosted at the Grand Victorian with a secret garden theme, which was brought to life by our decor partner – Naphisha @ The Perfect Setting Inc. We also invited other Decor Designers on board to design their take on Secret Garden table centrepiece & table design concepts to inspire the brides. Along with decor designers we also invited Cake & Dessert Designers to create unique wedding cakes & desserts keeping with the Secret Garden Theme.

The entire event is an educational experience for brides to be & their fellow guest(s). At every Bridalicious event the main goal is to educate the brides, share the hottest trends in the industry & of course inspire them!

So without further ado, here are some images from a fabulous event! Special thanks to Harp for documenting the entire event. And also a VERY special thanks to Nspire Sound for providing the audio visual & dj services for the event.

Engagement – Kajal+Veeral

Kajal & Veeral are one of our fabulous 2011 couples, they will be tying the knot next year in May & we are uber excited to document their upcoming big day. So for their engagement shoot Kajal & Veeral wanted some fall, some urban brick works & some water.. So we decided to start off the shoot at the Distillery District, followed by harborfront area & then finally High Park. I have to say that fall is my favourite time to shoot engagement sessions because there is just something SO romantic about it… Here are just some of my favorite images from K&V’s shoot..
