I have never been much of a writer! When I first decided to get a blog, I was worried about what would I write, who will want to read my “stuff” etc etc..then it occured to me one day, that I am not suppose to be a writer, I am an artist, a photographer, that writes through my images..and that’s all I needed, those simple & true thoughts took away most of my writing jitters and I finally decided to get a blog..and here we are!..Photography to me means alot, it’s not just my profession, or my business, its how I express things, people, connection & above all love….When we met Denise & Josh for their engagement session, they were perfectly styled with lots of flair & pizzazz..We wanted to capture their connection, their style, their personality and yes, of course their moment in time together..so here are some images of one dashing couple that have decided to tie the knot in Jamaica!! And yes! we will be there to capture their beautiful wedding day, while basking in some Jamaican Sun…enjoy!

The first time Surbhi emailed me regarding her wedding, we hit it right off!! For days we talked to each other through various emails, and before I even met her in person, she felt like a friend… Surbhi, is down to earth and a fun person to be around! Surbhi & Kundan make an ‘oh so’ cute couple together as you will see..and like myself & Harp, they are not only soon to be life partners but also business partners. They together own a web/graphic design company called, Virtuoso Designs ( http://www.surbhiguleria.com/) ..There work is beautiful, creative & I LOVE it…

It was quite a long drive to Niagara Falls for Pam from Toronto & for Scott from Syracuse, New York to Niagara Falls for their first date! Yes! Scott’s from Syracuse & Pam is our local Toronto gal! They share quite an interesting story of how they met & their relationship which is amazing and oh sooo heart warming. I wont share their engagement story with you all, but I will share some of my favorite images from their engagement shoot….and I’ll just let their images do the talking about them, their relationship & their connection…enjoy!

I absolutley love recieving emails & phone calls from old clients. It’s always amazing to catch up with and find out what’s new in their lives etc etc..Few months ago, I got an email from Preeia, one of my clients’ from last year, asking me how I was doing and just letting me know that she is always stopping by my blog to see what’s up in “g&h” world..I was totally flattered, and honored to recieve such a sweet email. So being the ‘email-holic’ that I am, we started talking away through emails about life, marriage life, work etc..And then one day she emailed me asking me to photograph her sister-in-law, Gurpreet’s, baby shower. And I was tottttally up for it!!

Gurpreet’s baby shower was absolutley beautiful..The shower, started with a hindu ceremony, blessing the mom to be, followed by a ceremony called, “Godh Bharayee”, which is basically the elders showering the mom to be with rice & flowers wishing her health & prosperity. After the ceremony, we took few minutes to get some solo images of Gurpreet & Mikky (the father to be..) followed by few bridal shower games, food and great music!
