Before we get started with zillions of images from our trip to India, I wanted to share some images from Benazir & Saqib’s intimate engagement ceremony held at Benazir’s parents’ house in Ajax. Thank you to all the blog readers that emailed & facebooked us in the last 3 weeks to check in with us. I apologize for not being so available through email as our travelling schedule was quite hectic with many items to take care! We just got in day before yesterday & still trying to get over the jetlag as you can imagine! There are soo many images & stories that we are looking forward to sharing with you this week, so make sure to check back.. but for now I wanted to share this short commericial on India’s Tourism. While travelling through India I watched this commercial several times on television & loved how incredibly, brilliantly, truly, this commercial captures the diverse terrains, culture, food, colors etc. & the soul of this beautiful country in just 2 minutes..If you haven’t checked it out already, here it is… Enjoy!

For the next few days we will be showcasing Hena & Omair’s wedding festivities, starting off with their first day of ceremonies , the Nikkah day, followed by the Henna Ceremony, Wedding day & finally the Reception.
From the moment I got Hena’s first email regarding her wedding, I knew it was going to be a fabulous affair. Every event, outfit, decor etc. was planned without any assistance of a wedding planner and designed solely by our uber creative bride. You may recall Hena from our Tres Chic Planning post as well. So without any further delay here are some of my favorite details & moments from their Nikkah day…

For Sima & Dupinder’s engagement session we all decided to hit the streets of downtown Brampton. For the shots we walked through Gage Park, City Centre area, few historic buildings & also utilized a few brightly colored alleyways, all coupled with beautiful natural fall lighting. I have to say Sima’s fabulous red coat was puuurfect for the setting, it beautifully contrasted the historic buildings & complimented the fall colors. And not to forget how GORGEOUS Sima looked in it, I LOVED it!!
We are thrilled to be documenting Sima & Dupinder’s upcoming summer wedding next August & for now here are some of my favorite images from their Engagement Session…

Suhaila & Shahid are tying the knot this January & we are uber excited and looking forward to their big day! Few weeks back we photographed their engagement session in downtown Toronto by the Harbourfront area on a beautiful Saturday morning.. The weather as you can imagine was even colder by the lake but as you will see in their images below we had way too much FUN walking around lakeshore and documenting this stage of Suhaila & Shahid’s lives at a place that is very sentimental to both of them..Enjoy!
