Malathy + Darish’s – Rosewater Supper Club Wedding Ceremony & Reception

As promised here is part II of Malathy & Darish’s wedding day. Day II started at the King Edward Hotel for me where Malathy & her bridal party got ready & for Harp it started at Malathy & Darish’s place where the boys got ready, enjoyed the sun, played a little soccer & posed a little for Harp. Followed by their non-denominational wedding ceremony at the fabulous Rosewater Supper Club, after which while the wedding guests enjoyed the cocktail hour at the Rosewater, we rushed over to 1 King West Hotel & Residences with Malathy & Darish for their photoshoot. And here are just some of my favorite images from Day II..It was so hard to narrow down just a few images to blog today, so enjoy!

Every detail for the wedding was handpicked & chosen by Malathy. I was in LOVE with all the vintage details from her lace wedding dress, to the rings, shoes, etc..

While I shot the ceremony at the same level it was being held, Harp shot the entire ceremony from the balcony above, which provided him with some interesting angles & view points!

We didn’t have too much time for the photo shoot but we all worked quickly, while Harp did all the lighting set ups, I directed the shoot..& of course Malathy & Darish brought it ON at the photoshoot.

Salwa + Jeff – High Park Engagement Shoot

Tis’ the season for engagement shoots my friends -

I am always excited to blog about our fabulous clients, & for this blog post I have been waiting the entiiiiiire weekend to find some time to get bloggin’. Initially when we were finalizing the details for Salwa & Jeff’s e-shoot, we all agreed to have a cherry blossom themed engagement shoot at the gorgeous High Park in Toronto. So we waited..& waited some more.. scheduled our eshoot for one day, then cancelling it due to rain, then scheduling it in for another day & then cancelling it once again as Cherry Blossoms were a ‘no go’ still at High Park. And then we decided let’s just forget the entire Cherry Blossom theme & just go ahead with High Park setting engagement shoot, as we are getting close to Salwa & Jeff’s wedding day..I personally believe that at the end of the day it’s the story of two people irregardless of what’s in the background, props etc.. Underneath it all engagement shoots are all about capturing the connection between the two people, their personalities, their love & above all documenting this moment of their lives forever. As Jeff brought in his guitar to the shoot & Salwa came in so fabulously dressed, with a headpiece & all.. i was in LOVE!!!! So without further ado, I am so excited to share Salwa & Jeff’s engagement shoot today.. Enjoy!

Bahamas Destination Wedding – Anita + Dhanu ~ Part I

Today we are so delighted to share Dhanu & Anita’s destination wedding in Bahamas. I have to admit this wedding was the most beautiful & intimate wedding that we have ever documented. And I say that not exactly because of the number of guests that attended, as the guest count was in upwards to 125+. But because the day of the wedding ended up being a very windy day, & as you will see in the images below, it got quite hard to ignite the fire & also to keep it going to carry on with Anita & Dhanu’s Hindu wedding ceremony. So the priest asked all the guests to gather around the bride & groom to hold the wind back & provide protection to fire from the wind. It was simply amazing. So without further ado, here is part I of Anita & Dhanu’s Bahamas wedding!

When shooting a destination wedding this shot can be so easily coordinated & a must for us! While Harp did backflips to get all the guests attention, I mounted myself on a chair & took the shot.. err.. yes! I was totally joking about Harp doing black flips…although it is an interesting idea..hmm may be next time..

Shradha & Pranav’s Wedding Day Finale – New Delhi, India

On this sort of gloomy but a warm day in Toronto, I am so excited to share the final post from Shradha & Pranav’s wedding ceremony in India. I am actually quite sad as this post marks the finale of all the wedding coverage from Shradha & Pranav’s wedding but like they say all good things come to an end & so they must..We wish Shradha & Pranav all the VERRRRY best in their new life together & thank you again for making us a part of it

Few days after the wedding & before Shradha & Pranav jetted off for their very exotic honeymoon in Thailand, we did a bridal shoot in Delhi. We started the shoot at the nation’s national monument, The India Gate, followed by Qutub Minar. Although we started so earlllly in the morning as the sun rises quite early in Delhi this time of the year, we couldn’t believe how many people were already out on the streets, plus tourists on tours & so many children on day trips from school. It was hard to find quite spots without too many people around but somehow we managed & the shoot turned out to be awesome!

When in India.. the land of Bollywood must do a filmi shot.. & this one is totally inspired by Veer Zaara

Alisha + Al-Hussein’s Wedding Reception

After posting Alisha & Al-Hussein’s bridal shoot images, we received SO many emails from our blog readers about how much they enjoyed the images that we shot in the bathroom of the hotel & so many of our clients that recently got their washrooms done would love for us to drop by & do there own washroom shoot.. err…first of all, we had no idea how many washroom renos were going on just within our group of blog readers, it must be a Spring thing to do.. Second of all, YES!! we would love to..

Bahamas Engagement – Anita + Dhanu

Anita & Dhanu tied the knot in gorgeous Bahamas this feb & as they both reside in Washington DC (well, now in Houston), we only met with them once before the wedding & that too was at one of our 2010 clients, Deepan & Ausra’s wedding, where we chatted for a bit & decided to shoot their engagement session before the wedding in Bahamas once we arrive & then followed by their ‘Rock that Dress’ shoot the day after the wedding.

A special thanks to Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort for allowing us to shoot on their gorgeous property. And a VERY special thanks to Mother Nature for making it look like it was about to pour each moment & day that weekend but somehow holding the rain back …

As we are settling back in to the studio after being away for the month of february, I can’t wait to showcase more of our 2010 & 2011 weddings. Last month we documented 2 beautiful weddings, in Bahamas & India & this month a very beautiful vintage wedding @ the Rosewater Supper Club. Hello From India!

Just signing in ALLLLL the way from New Delhi, India to say Helloo! so HELLO world!. We have finally completed documenting Shradha & Pranav’s 2 days of pre-wed ceremonies & the grand wedding ceremony. We honestly can’t wait to show off the images from this weekend, but for now here is a little glimpse of the beautiful wedding ceremony. Wedding Part (II) – Puja+Arjun

Puja & Arjun’s reception was full of crystals, elaborate stage set up with huge water fall features, blinged out natural birch branches & everything in the ballroom accentuated with glamorous pin lighting. Everything about this reception exuded the WOW factor! And to top it ALLLL of Gurpreet Chana, AKA The Tabla Guy a very good friend of Arjun’s performance was simply remarkable! So without further ado, Happy Thursday Everyone!
